Community-powered accessibility ratings for everyday places across the city.
About
JADDAH works with institutions, designers and communities to make physical and digital environments usable by all.

The JADDAH app
The app is the core of the initiative: a community-powered map of accessible places, with verified ratings and reviews written by the people who rely on them.
Community-powered accessibility ratings for everyday places across the city.
Ramps, parking, elevators and restrooms checked and confirmed by real visits.
Anyone can rate a place and tag the access features that matter to them.

Access is designed in from the beginning, never retrofitted as an apology.
We audit, measure and publish, so progress is verifiable rather than promised.
People with lived experience lead every programme we run.
JADDAH began as a small volunteer audit of one neighbourhood: kerbs, ramps, signage, websites. What started as a checklist became a standard, and then a movement. Today the initiative supports partners across education, transport and culture with practical accessibility guidance, training and open reporting.
